History

Orbit Medical Enterprises, Inc. is based in Salt Lake City, Utah. Although Orbit Medical did not officially begin business until June 2005, its owners and many of its employees have been gaining market share since 2002.

Orbit Medical specializes in the distribution of Durable Medical Equipment (DME). They primarily provide power wheelchairs, in-home oxygen, and sleep therapy products. They help their customers receive these medically necessary products through their insurance benefits.

Immediately upon its inception, Orbit Medical began gaining national status. Orbit Medical is currently ranked among the top 5 in the Nation for providers of motorized wheelchairs. Each year, Orbit Medical helps thousands of people regain their independence through power wheelchairs.

Orbit Medical strives to help its customers maintain their independence by providing the Invacare HomeFill II System; an in-home oxygen system that allows customers to fill their tanks up from a home concentrator. They currently provide thousands of customers with in-home oxygen.

Orbit Medical also provides CPAP and Bi-Level equipment to its OSA (obstructive sleep apnea) customers. Many of its OSA customers can now enjoy a good night sleep through effective sleep therapy. Orbit Medical currently provides thousands of customers with sleep therapy products.

Orbit Medical currently generates annual revenue of about $30MM. Working together as a team and through aggressive marketing strategies, Orbit Medical will continue helping thousands of people regain their independence and receive the medical supplies they need for many years to come.
